The Butte Falls Scenic Railway Project Team
Team Leader - Ric Walch
39 years experience in the restoration & preservation of railroad equipment as well as operations qualified as steam locomotive firemen (39 years) and engineer (35 years) also was qualified as a fireman and engineer on the Yreka Western RR.  Many years working experience as a forester (silviculturist) with the USFS in and around Butte Falls.  Also was formerly qualified as a wild land fire fighter.
Jerry Hellinga
Ken Hill
Extensive experience in the restoration and operation of motor cars and track design and construction.
Chris Bray
Butte Falls Public Works director.  Extensive knowledge of the workings of the Town of Butte Falls.
Larry Tuttle
25 years experience working with steam excursion trains as Engineer, Fireman, Hostler, Brakeman, Conductor, fire train operator and Training officer on the Sumpter Valley as well as engineer and fireman on the Yreka Western and fireman on the McCloud.  He’s also had 17 years experience as a volunteer with Evans Valley (Jackson County) Fire District 6 serving as (structure and wild land)  firefighter, medic, apparatus operator, captain and training officer.  At one time he was certified by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training as a Firefighter I and Fire Instructor.
