Below is the equipment that will be brought to Butte Falls in Phase 1 of the construction.
Medco number 8 is a Baldwin built S6 diesel locomotive.  It was the last operating locomotive on the Medco line.  The Society purchased this locomotive from the Magma Arizona RR and has been restored to operational condition in its Medco look.
This Southern Pacific 40 foot flat car will be modified to become an open passenger car for the Butte Falls Scenic Railway.
x-SP Economy Baggage car 6799 was donated to the Society by the scrapper that was contracted by Union Pacific to remove it.  This car needs new paint and a few other minor repairs to get into operating condition.
In 1997 our Society acquired three government surplus DLA boxcars, stored at Ogden, Utah. They were trucked to Oregon, all 3 cars are stored serviceable in White City.
Also a motor car with a trailing fire safety car will be brought to Butte Falls.

Below is the equipment that will be brought to Butte Falls in Phase 2 of the construction.
In September, 1997 the Society  acquired the No. 4 from the City of Medford with intent of restoring it to operating condition.

Today Medco #4 is undergoing a complete restoration at Medford RR Park & is about 90% complete as seen in the photo to the left.
Built as T&NO #911 for Southern Pacific Railroad subsidiary Texas & New Orleans by the Pullman Car Company in 1912, it was the first all-steel dining car built for the Southern Pacific.  The dining car was acquired by the Society from the Union Pacific in 2008 and moved to White City
Southern Pacific caboose #1000 built in 1938 -- is the first in a line of hundreds of all-steel cabooses built by Southern Pacific at the Los Angeles General Shops.

In September 1980 the OC&E donated this caboose to the Southern Oregon Chapter and it was placed on display inside the Medford Railroad Park.
The Great Northern caboose X202 was built by Great Northern in September 1941 at their St. Cloud, Minnesota shops. This caboose was acquired by the Society as a donation in 1995.
